01

Start ASAP

Pick a task and go. Don't wait for anything. If you need additional instructions, email us.

02

One task at a time

Work on one task at a time. When you finish, select the next.

03

Pick any task

You can pick any open task. They're not sequential. Pick what fits your skills today.

04

Solo by default

Most work is individual. Teams only assembled when there's a clear need — never bigger than three.

05

Tech agnostic

Use the tools you prefer. We don't dictate stack.

06

Quality > deadline

We care far more about quality than turnaround time. Don't ship junk to hit a date. If it's not good, don't submit it.

07

Document your steps

Jot down every step you took to get to the solution. Future you (and your reviewer) will thank you.

08

Pics > text

Visuals beat text. PowerPoints beat Word docs. How can you make your point with the fewest words?

09

Screen record (devs only)

Programmers and app developers — launch what you built and screen-record yourself walking through the UX.

10

Stealth-mode companies

Some companies have intentionally vague descriptions. Use your imagination. The more ideas and suggestions, the better.

11

Unlimited support

Plenty of experts to help. Just ask. Your concierge connects you to whoever you need.

12

Email > Zoom

Meetings create headwinds. Email is the fastest path. Use it relentlessly.

13

Be self-sufficient

Concierges are helpful but you don't need to wait. Google. Find examples. Reverse-engineer. Roll up your sleeves.

14

Task selection

If a task requires extensive tutorials to complete, don't pick it. Pick tasks you can actually finish.
